With a career spanning more than 20 years, Paco Osuna is one of the most renowned artists in the industry. His creativity, courage and relentless search for new forms of expression are some of his principal and consistent virtues when it comes to making music. On the dance floor, he is lively, intelligent and sophisticated, with a deep awareness for sound aesthetics. Every session is important to Paco and he sets out to invent and renew every time he steps onto the stage.

In 2006 he launched Mindshake, conceived as a platform for the creation and distribution of electronic music. Over the past few years, Mindshake has become one of the most important techno labels in the US and Europe. Also in 2006, Paco founded a club with a fresh concept, Club4, which has established itself as the overwhelming choice for its variety and accessibility in electronic music offerings.

Throughout his career Paco has performed at clubs, parties and festivals of great prestige. The list of events in which he has played is endless, and is one where quality is more important than quantity. From Fabric London to WOMB Tokyo, passing through Space NYC, Space Miami, Verboten New York, Watergate Berlin and Electric Brixton London. Meanwhile, Sónar, Awakenings, Dockyard, ADE, Neopop, BPM, Electric Zoo, Movement Detroit, Time Warp and Tomorrowland are some of the many festivals he has played.

From 2012 to 2014 he was resident for Richie Hawtin’s ENTER, appearing not only at Space Ibiza but also in its tour around the world. In 2015 Paco Osuna became part of Music On, joining Marco Carola in residencies at Amnesia Ibiza and the Story club in Miami, as well as the emblematic parties during BPM Mexico. In 2016 he was selected to be ambassador of PLAYdifferently Model1, a distinction also received by Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Dubfire and, of course, Richie Hawtin. 2016 was also an important year for the Mindshake showcases, in which Paco participated alongside other label producers with tours taking in European and American stages, including events such as the Miami Music Week and ADE Amsterdam. The Mindshake showcases are both an extension of the musical and artistic vision of Paco and a family celebration, where the main goal is to create an unforgettable musical experience.

In the studio, Paco Osuna has moulded his own musical signature, coating the purest techno sounds with his characteristic features: depth, darkness and imagination, always accentuated by his creativity and innovation. Proof of that are his releases on labels such as Plus8, Minus, Mood, Spectral and Hommage, plus productions for his own platform Mindshake.
With a long career and background, Paco has picked up several prizes for his hard work on and off the stage, receiving the awards for Best Artist, Best Techno DJ, Best Producer and Best Remix from the Vicious Awards and DJ Mag Spain.

During 2016 Paco Osuna will extend the journey that has led him be the artist that he is today. This year, his residencies with Music On Ibiza and Miami will continue, while he will also still be focusing his energy on his main project Mindshake, a label that will end this year having published more than 45 works since its conception.

DJ, producer, label owner and businessman: Mark Knight has proven a rare and wonderful breed of musical heavyweight. The second highest-selling Beatport artist of all time (with no less than eight No.1’s) his career has spanned more than a decade, with releases on a diverse range of labels such as Suara, 1605,  Stereo and of course his own Toolroom. Despite his success, the Grammy-nominated artist has never rested on the laurels of being one of the industry’s most respected and accomplished international players, and continues to push boundaries and set new standards with each year that passes. 

Armed with a musical library that knows no boundaries, a consistent run of hits and chart-topping ventures alike, the success of Knight’s recording career is matched only by the credibility and integrity maintained throughout his discography to date. Heard through a spread of anthems  (‘Man With The Red Face,’ ‘Alright’, ‘Downpipe’) along with producing bands such as Faithless and Underworld has sealed a diverse musical heritage for the accomplished producer. It’s music for passion, not numbers, and it’s what Mark Knight does best. 
 
2015 was a landmark year for Mark Knight. His track ‘Second Story’ on Suara was crowned an Essential New Tune by Radio 1’s Pete Tong, and went on to be one of the biggest records of the summer: another welcome accolade from the national broadcaster following Mark’s induction into Radio 1’s Hall of Fame earlier in the year. 

Last year also saw the release of ‘A Year In The Life’: a collection of highlights from Mark’s illustrious career. All proceeds were donated to the children’s charity War Child, while alongside the album, a feature-length fly-on-the-wall documentary - filmed over the space of an entire year – was released in January 2016. 

2016 has already marked some of Mark Knight’s strongest work to date. The key mantra has been about Mark stripping back his music and going back to his roots, creating more underground, club ready tracks. Mark has certainly achieved this through his sound and the labels in which he will be releasing on over the year, taking a step back from Toolroom from an artists perspective for the first time in over a decade.

Founded in 2004 and responsible for championing a wealth of talent from across the industry spectrum, the award-winning Toolroom Records will of course remain a key component in the life and times of Mark Knight. Having spearheaded the label’s new direction over the past few years as part of their pivotal #RESET campaign, Knight continues to have a leading role within one of the UK’s biggest independent record labels. 

Notable in 2016 is the label’s shift to focus less on singles and more on developing artists and releasing albums: one of Mark’s major priorities for the year. Toolroom has dominated the Beatport charts for over a decade with its forward-thinking house and techno releases, but with album projects coming up from Adrian Hour and Weiss now looks set to embark on a new chapter in its continuing evolution.  

Alongside his bountiful studio output, Knight has continued to grow his much loved radio presence, with Toolroom Radio now reaching over 13.5 million people in 60 countries across the world, all tuning in each week to hear Mark’s records of choice, while on iTunes Toolroom Radio was recently named in the top 20 most influential podcast by Digital Music News based on number of subscribers. Knight also remains a firm fixture on the worldwide touring circuit with a number of key residencies around the world under the Toolroom Live banner and performances at dance music bastions Space Ibiza and Amnesia as well as a host of landmark festivals. With all this in mind, it’s no wonder the Toolroom man has deservedly maintained his status as an indispensable asset to modern dance music.

Ferreck Dawn is all about the drums. They have to be heavy and physical to get his dance floors full, while the vocal details bring the all-important heart and soul. After 20 years in the game, this signature sound is what the Dutchman is recognised for around the world. It has taken him to every major club and festival, to labels like Defected, Repopulate Mars and Club Sweat and to the Beatport number 1 spot a number of times. 

"I like to please everybody on the dance floor," he says of this mix of the visceral and more emotional. Whether using original vocalists or digging deep for a sample, it is the melody, soul and texture of the human voice rather than the words that Ferreck is drawn to. And it has been this way since his international breakout tune in 2014: 'Love Too Deep,' with his friend Redondo, got signed to Spinnin Records, made the daytime playlist on BBC Radio One and led Ferreck to quit his job and pursue music full time. 

His early tunes soon got support from the likes of Carl Cox, Luciano and Green Velvet, and another milestone came with 'In Arms' on Defected in 2018. It became one of the most played tracks of the Ibiza season, reached the overall number 1 on Beatport and gathered over 70 million streams. In 2021, he repeated the trick of serving up a sizzling summer anthem and Beatport chart-topper with 'Back Tomorrow' together with UK powerhouse singer Jem Cooke, again on Defected. As with many of his tunes, global radio support and high-profile DJ plays helped make it a modern classic.

Part of the reason Ferreck remains a chart-topping producer after nearly 20 years is his ability to do it all. He searches out interesting collaborators from different sub-genres to mix it up and find new inspirations. Whether it's David Guetta's house alias Jack Back, 'The Void' with Lee Foss, 'My Own Way' with A-Trak and Lord, he never stops evolving. Of course, the best in the scene also come calling for the famous Ferreck sound: he has remixed an a-list of artists including Diplo, Tiesto, Martin Garrix, Vintage Culture, Claptone, Oliver Heldens and many more. 

Ferreck traces his love of chunky bottom ends back to his earliest experiences of dance music. Growing up in the Netherlands, he was surrounded by gabba and hardcore. It swept him up and defined his early years as DJ Dusk. But the often high tempos and impenetrable grooves proved to be a creative dead end for him once he began producing. He had more to say and was keen to explore a wider array of moods and grooves so added a stylized version of his own first name, Freek, and flipped Dusk to Dawn. He gravitated towards a unique mix of powerful techno drums and emotional house vocals and Ferreck Dawn was born. 

As a DJ now, he understands people want to hear the signature Ferreck sound. So in the booth, he balances his own productions with tracks that speak most to him, as well as some carefully chosen classics and future gems. This means he is able to smash out a high-impact 90-minute festival set at Extrema Outdoor, but also go deeper and play all night long at cult clubs like London's Fabric, and everywhere in between.

Fresh off the back of his first solo tour of the US, Ferreck has a wealth of new music coming with Meduza, Vintage Culture, Dom Dolla and Izzy Bizu. "If I won't play it, I won't release it," he says, "and I stand by that 200%." It is that quality control that has kept him at the top of his game for almost 20 years.
