Cerebro is a singer, producer and songwriter born in in Leningrad (San Petersburg) USSR (Russia). The East European/African artist started her journey in 1999 as Lyricist/Rapper. Passionate by artists like Eminem, Snoop Dog and Dr. Dre, Cerebro decided to form a Rap group with her classmate and best friend who also enjoyed Hip-Hop culture. After some month of free styling, beat boxing and writing, the project seen to go nowhere and the girls gave up on the group.
At age of 13 Cerebro create her first composition entitled “A janela do meu quarto” and gives a start to her carrer as a singer/songwriter. After one year of composing, she met an Angolan guitarist/producer who helped her to record her first demo with 11 acoustic tracks. The cd was sent by Cerebro to a Record Label named “Radio Vial” that rejected to produce it for been pop/rock genre.
In 2004 Cerebro participated in Angolan talent TV Show “Esterelas ao palco” where she sang “My imortal” by “Evanescence”. Her talent took her to the fought place in a competition acquiring thousands of fans in the country.
In May 2005 Cerebro had a participation in a national TV Show for singers and compositors with the song “Deus illumine os Caminhos” written by Angolan artist “Helder Mendes”.
At the same year a 16 years old Cerebro integrated in a Pop/Rock band “Quinta Feira” as a lead vocalist, where her age brought a new name for the project :“1516”. The band played in local bars, night clubs, social events and other many gigs. After one year the group was terminated and in 2007 Cerebro start her career as a music producer.
In 2008 she releases the Underground Rappers Grande Raffa and Nkiama. 
After 4 years collaborating with many artists she decides to release her first single entitled “Check this out”.
The track is a big influence of rock, dance, hip-hop and electronic music. The art cover for the song war created by Cheyenne Juelmonce who is a member of Cerebro’s label. The 3 sentences in “Check this out” are said by a robot named “Nero” the robot that also integrates the small indie record label.
Until the end of 2014 Cerebro is planning to release her first album .


Remy aka dr.ugs experiments with original music and genre-swapping on cover songs.  Playing guitar, bass and piano.  The instruments on my tracks are played and made by dr.ugs and MIDI sequenced on them.  

I write lyrics and am open to pretty much anything musically.  Music gives me reason to breathe because otherwise I wouldn't know what to say. it is the only thing in this world that will never hurt you.
