Dj BacSpin has blessed audiences with untouchable performances, radio shows, radio advertisements, and mixtapes. His creativity as a Dj and lyrical skills has allowed him to build his reputation as being one of the livest DJ’s in New York. He is currently the Assistant Music Director, as well as the MidDay Deejay(M-F 10am-3pm)on The Beat 105.5FM in Rochester, N.Y. He has rocked crowds from Rochester, to Las Vegas, to Charleston and Columbia S.C., Atlanta, and Toronto.

Born LaMont Wingo in Rochester, N.Y. BacSpin began Deejaying when he was just seven years old. Transforming his birthday gift, a Micky Mouse record player, into his first turntable. From there, he practiced day and night at becoming the best. Siting Jam Master Jay of RUN DMC as his biggest influence. BacSpin’s first break came in 1994 when he out beat the competition to become the “House DJ” at Club Babylon on Central Avenue in Rochester. Once word got out, he began rocking other clubs and became a staple on the college circuit. In early to mid 2000’s he captivated the crowed at the world-renowned “Magic Show” held annually at the Las Vegas Convention Center. In 2005 he made his national television debut on BET’s “Rap City” as a guest Dj. Since then, he has appeared on the show on six separate occasions.

As the years progressed, he accepted the great opportunity in 2014 to go on tour with R&B King R.Kelly. On the tour he opened the show, and got the concert attendees hype and turnt up as they got ready for the “Pied Piper”. He has Deejayed for great artists such as, KRS One, NORE, Juvinile, ONYX, Kieth Murray, and Troy Ave. to name a few. And has also shared the same stage with the likes of Nas, The LOX, Dip Set, Lil’Kim, Migos, Lil’Uzi Vert, Dj Red Alert, Dj Scratch, Dj Green Lantern, Dj Whoo Kid, Dj Drama, Dj Tony Touch and Dj Chubby Chubb.

He is currently the “Radio Add King” in Rochester that listeners tune into to hear the hottest radio advertisements and marketing production on local urban radio stations. He was nominated and won Best DJ at the Annual ROC Awards in 2014 and 2015. The first in Rochester to win the award back to back. He was also featured in BreakThru Magazine as one of the pioneering deejays in Rochester. Aside from being a talented artist, he’s learned to become a profitable businessman. His objective in the music business is to continue to grow as a DJ, as well as learn more about marketing and promoting myself to gain more success.
