Wendel Dario Price II, professionally known as SolmuskiqDawayne or simply Solmuskiq  /ˈmjuːsɪk/; born May 19, 1981 is an American singer, songwriter producer, and engineer whose style blends R&B, funk, blues, jazz, gospel influences fused with hip hop. SOLMUSKIQDAWAYNE where do I start? talented impressive soulful human being immense ambition makes him what i considered a great musician. A competitive type who usually gives everything he has in order to win. His strong self confidence and his abilities makes him what i consider a G.O.A.T. Solmuskiq was born in New Haven Conn, and raised in Washington D.C. He developed his talents in church and playing in marching bands. He attended the United House Of Prayer for All People playing his trombone and singing in the choir. During his teenage years he built a reputation for being musically gifted, beat boxing for MCs free styling on the open mic circuit, scatting at jazz clubs or just performing an a cappella for strangers on the streets, which is where he got the name "Solmuskiq" from because they said when he sand it sounds like his soul is in it. and later added "Dawayne" His alter ego. His inspiration comes from Musiq Souldchild, Boys 2 Men, Luther Vandross, and Teddy Railey. After finish school he attended johnson C Smith University on a full musical scholarship and from there is musical career has grown immense. People around him always will invariably notice the leadership and hunger he has. SOLMUSKIQ’S confidence shining like a bright light. Like the sun that he is SOLMUSKIQ.
