Carita La Nina is of Irish / Ghanian decent born and raised in Amsterdam and one of the Netherlands’ most popular female DJs. With her upbeat personality, superb skills and buckets of talent, she stands her ground in the cutting -edge Dutch dance scene, thus blazing a trail for all women trying to carve out a career in this male-dominated industry. 

Carita has had the recognition of being a strong individual having done several campaigns for renowned brands such as Nike and Sinner Eyewear.
These days, Carita is performing worldwide & at the biggest venues in the Netherlands, treating discerning Dutch dance audiences to a varied mix of House music. From deep & sexy to uplifting & groovy, adding melodic notes as she plays into the vibes of the crowd. She has a natural instinct for what the audience wants to hear, but does not flinch from going off on a musical tangent with her own productions.

Although Carita is best known for her Deephouse & Techhouse sets at top notch events such as Dirty Dutch, Dancevalley MainStage & Extrema Outdoor, she at one point in her career decided to explore the Electronic Dance Music sounds. With 'Dragonfly' - her collabo with Dash Berlin - being released on Hardwell's label Revealed Recordings, her official remixes for Beyoncé & Britney Spears, soundtrack 'DiSKO' (As I Am) used for the 'Sinner - As I Am' TV commercial & her official remix for Dash Berlin ‘Here Tonight’ released on Armada records, Carita has stated her talent worldwide.

Now fully back into her core sound of Deephouse & Techhouse Carita is productive in her studio both as Carita La Nina and her side project CLN83. 

Adding her own smashing productions to her sets, Carita now has the complete package to stir things up and journey with the crowd!

After many successful editions of her concept ‘Love & Destruction’ (Heineken Music Hall, hosting the 2nd area at Luxurush, Chuckie’s Dirty Dutch and NYX Amsterdam) Carita’s next aim is to take her sound & concept  to a broader audience and take it international!
