Jam Day C.Back

It's the story of a man and a woman separated by the imperial guard of an ancient Celtic kingdom because they didn't want to be enslaved. The man was murdered, the children abducted to be used as slaves, and the woman escaped and was left alone in a dark cave. The spirit of her dead husband remains close to her and he can see her from beyond the grave and is present as a spectre invisible to her eyes, but she feels his presence (he's the one who sings in the song), and he gives her the strength to survive and find their children to continue her life despite the difficulties. The woman has an unsuspected power, the ability to unleash chaos on anything that creates a feeling of deep sadness. But she doesn't master it well, and doesn't know that this power can also kill her. She finds her way back to the kingdom with great difficulty, passing through a great dark forest (‘In the dark I never surrender’ from the song's lyrics) and macabre marshes. And she manages to find the people who took her husband away from her, followed by ten thousands of soldiers.
So she unleashes chaos, demons come out of the darkness and destroy everything in their path, and a storm is unleashed (with the power chord rythms in the last chorus). In the midst of this chaos, she manages to find the children and tries to save herself, but a stone wall that breaks away because of the chaos collapses on her. Soon after, calm returns and the Imperial Guard and its 10,000 soldiers are defeated. The children (a boy and a girl in their teens) manage to get out from under the rubble, and mourn their mother who has disappeared under the rubble. They also realise that she has joined her husband for eternity. Shortly afterwards. The light reappears, giving way to the songs of nature, birds a breath of fresh air and flowers growing on the rubble, bearing witness to a dark past. Life goes on and the children cross paths with a lumberjack who takes them under his wing as their parents look on in the afterlife.

A fun collab with Combstead. 
I was originally thinking of a talkbox like effect for the guitar on the title phrase. Turns out you can't emulate that inside a daw very well. So I was sticking to a vocoder in combination with a wah pedal, both driven by voice input which sounded pretty cool to my ear. 
Did you ever experiment with Talkbox/ vocoder fxs on guitar? Lmk, I'm interested!
