Fredro Starr, is an American rapper and actor, best known as a member of hardcore hip hop group Onyx from South Jamaica, Queens, New York.

DJ Selo (aka Sami), has become known in the Washington DC dance community for his DJing in the rapidly expanding Zouk & Kizomba scene in the DC Metro Area. Stemming from his musical roots in Capoeira, DJ Selo has an ear for music and rhythm which is evident in this musical selections in his increasingly popular sets and impeccable attention to detail that keeps his audiences dancing until the early hours of the morning. He creates sexy blends of Zouk, Kizomba & Bachata music, including remixes mainstream songs, hip hop favorites and he has an impressive arsenal of Salsa music.

Aside from DJing, Sami is co-organizer of the Washington DC Zouk & Kizomba Festival. Now in its third year, the DC Zouk & Kizomba Festival anticipates 500+ attendees from all over the country and will bring renowned Zouk & Kizomba artists from Brazil, Europe and across the US to the DC Metro Area for an amazing weekend of dance, music, performances and workshops. DJ Emerzive has always had a passion for all things music and dance related. Although one of the youngest DJ’s around, Emerzive’s professionalism, passion and knowledge speak for themselves. At the age of fourteen, he began his career by doing small and private events for friends and family as he learned and practiced this newfound passion. He became part of the Ferocity Dance Company as a performer at the age of eighteen, as he transitioned into a Latin Club DJ.

It was during this transition that his love and passion for Bachata music grew - quickly becoming his favorite type of music to mix. At the age of nineteen he fell in love with turntables and learned how to scratch, opening his passion for old school Hip Hop music and continued his passion for working on his technique as a DJ to mix different musical genres. Emerzive has become a young Bachata sensation in the DC area – priding himself on playing different kinds of Bachata music with seamless transitions. 

DJ Emerzive is the house DJ at some venues and has been invited to play at various different venues and events including: 5127 Lounge, Bachata Masters by Ferocity, Café Citron, Diamond Lounge, Tres Hermanas(Formally Mango Mikes), Rio Cantina, Eden, Fez Bistro, Lucky Strikes, Mahalo Cove, Picante, The Salsa Room and other various events throughout the DMV area. DJ Emerzive is also the official DJ of the Ferocity Dance Company.
