In a nutshell, I live and breathe house music. In fact, music in general. Having grown up around such a variety of musical influences from my West Indian background such as reggae, soul and gospel, I’ve felt compelled and truly inspired to share that real heartfelt uplifting vibe that house music brings.

I literally can’t be awake and not be around music, silence is deafening to me. Through the years I’ve moved through various roles throughout the music world. From sound engineer to producer to DJ and promoter; this experience gave me a perspective of the house music world from all different angles; giving me a fully rounded respect for every element that goes into the industry. I’m massively humbled and grateful for the opportunities I’ve been given; I am truly blessed, always learning and growing every day. Meeting like minded inspirational people along the way is the sweet butter icing on that cake!

Born and raised in London, it wasn’t really until I moved to Spain that I really took the life-changing decision that would send me on an amazing journey for the better. In the spring of 2008 Save Our Soul was born, as we felt there was a distinct lack of quality daytime/beach house music events in the area, and living full time inMarbella, what better? SOS’ mission was, and still is, to share top quality deep soulful house music in southernSpain. This later also morphed into an online radio station now hosting live video streamed parties every day from around the world, with collaborations with other house music brands and venues wordwide. Offering free shows, free downloads and interactive live chat with the DJs and fans. We’ve got a real family vibe going with the radio shows, such dedicated followers tuning in every day supporting our goal of sharing the love of the music.

My music selection is undeniably “Tito”, the type of gospel influenced highly energetic stomping tracks truly are my musical home, you hear it, and you just know it’s a Tito mix. I have a seriously deep rooted connection and love for this music, it gives me such a good feeling I have no choice but to share it. My main aim is to bring that good feeling to others…I love it!

I’m currently resident DJ for Save Our Soul and Paradise Musik here in Spain, but I’ve also played for brands such as “All Back To Ours”, “Mi Casa es Su Casa”, “The House of Rhythm”, “Tempo”, “Tastebudz” and had the opportunity to play music in some great venues such as Nikki Beach (Marbella), “Dreamers” (Marbella), “TIBU” (Marbella), Passion (Spain), The Brickhouse (London) with more to come…

At the end of summer 2011, I was asked to DJ for the first time at the renowned Vocal Booth Weekender, alongside some of the soulful house industry’s main players. I’m so proud to have come so far, doing what I love. I really can’t wait til the future’s here – gives me goose bumps just thinking about it! 

2012 has been an exceptional year and I’ve made some extremely beautiful connections.  The radio show has expanded, once again I played at the Vocal Booth summer festival and  2013 sees the start of many new things with the music on an international level so watch this space…:)

In 2010, Luis del Villar began a series of successful nights in Barcelona, which was the perfect backdrop to the already sexy house sounds that he had been known to entice audiences with. His regular residences in the city included Pacha, Buddha Bar, Oshum, Catwalk, Roxy Blue, City Hall and a list of other well known venues. 

Now playing all around the world in the most exclusive clubs and private parties thanks to his global known podcast “Ibiza Sensations”. His sessions have more than 50 million downloads since 2010, making him the most listened Spanish dj in the world thru podcasting and considered a “must see” Dj in the international scene with his silky and sophisticated sound of luxury. Number 1 on iTunes in more than 20 countries and the only one Spanish dj in the USA and UK iTunes top 100 regularly. The podcast is also air played in up to 100 radio stations around the world from Russia to Philippines, USA to South Africa, Spain to Brazil.

During the winter season he had been resident dj at Eclipse Bar inside the iconic W Hotel in Barcelona and played in w venues around the globe. In Ibiza he had played at well known places like Ushuaia Beach Club, Km5, Bora-Bora and Pacha Ibiza, but from 2013 to 2018, Luis hosted the “Ibiza Sensations” party at O Beach Ibiza in Sant Antoni de Portmany, one of the most glamorous beach clubs from the white island and also plays at some special events where is invited. During summer he had been also playing at different festivals, including Tomorrowland in Belgium, the most important one, being one of the few Spanish Djs playing there in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions.
