Pittsburgh's Maculate is an audio/visual artist, producer and VJ.  Maculate blends everything from classic hip hop to Bass Funk to Electro Swing all with a funky lemon twist.

I've been playing under the name DJB since the early 90's dj'ing various parties around Wales and the West. Fuelled by a passion for early 90's dance music, reggae and ska I consider my vinyl breaks collect to be one of my greatest assets,  check out my Reggae breaks mix to hear a small sample. I've always wanted to inject a bit more fun in to my sets and felt the best way to do this, without closing the doors on my breaks collection was create a new persona, FunkMaster Bates was born!! expect to hear a blend of funk, swing, reggae, party vibes and wobbly Baselines
