Radar & Weston is the breakthrough collaborative project of Chris Radisich and Tim Smyth.

Both growing up in Canberra, Radar & Weston have been heavily involved in the thriving local house and techno scene. Meeting at a music festival, then bumping into each other every other weekend while DJing at Trinity Bar under their individual alias’s as Radar, and Timothy Weston –they decided it was time to combine their two musical styles in the studio and create Radar & Weston. Between them they have most recently supported artists such as – Fritz Kalkbrenner, Ben Pearce, Dusky, HQNO, Sonny Fodera, Robosonic, and Amine Edge & Dance. 

Although they are comfortable behind the decks playing on either vinyl or CDJ’s, in a live environment Radar & Weston like to utilize the creative freedom of Ableton, paired with Midi controllers, live instruments, and a vocalist to create a dynamic, and energetic musical journey. Influenced by a wide range of electronic music, the sound of Radar & Weston is fusion of their respective musical styles which range from Disco to Deep House, right through to Minimal Techno.

With support from local Canberra djs, creative autonomy, efficient workflow, and above all a passion for techno and house music, 2014 is sure to be a fantastic one for Radar & Weston

The Trojan House Records label takes its name and inspiration from the Greek Empire, which thrived more than 2,500 years ago on the Aegean Sea. This radical period led to a new way of thinking about the universe and what it meant to be human. It was a time of war, in which warriors, musicians, actors and philosophers fought to create a new world. Out of this conflict, new culture flourished and societies were built. Focus was on human creativity and self expression. It was with this inspiration from our fearless ancestors that Trojan House Records was born...
