The Rebellion is an alternative/indie rock band based in Dallas, TX. Members are Corina Grove on guitar and lead vocals, Trey Suire on bass, guitar and vocals. They are from various parts of the US, living in Virginia, Louisiana, Georgia, and Italy before they found their way to Texas. Each member started playing instruments as teenagers and after years gigging in cover bands they all had a strong desire to create their own music. Their influences are mainly artists and bands you would find in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and include Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley and Pearl Jam.

Formed in late 2012, The Rebellion started out playing cover songs at local Dallas venues. As they quickly started gaining fans, the band developed their own sound which is a mix of alternative/Indie rock, blues and funk. They describe it as a blend of the Black Keys, Mumford & Sons and Alabama Shakes. Now Corrie and Trey write all of their original songs, mixing Corrie’s soulful vocals with Trey’s raspy voice. The Rebellion has performed locally at DoubleWide, House of Blues, The Prophet Bar, The Door, etc. and many other great music venues! The Rebellion's debut album is due out in the spring of 2016.
