HAVE A MUSICAL DAY. Born A Star - 06/06/1990

Born Fhatuwani Glenton Netshivhulana, he is the second born out of 6 children. Glenton started his dj career 6 years ago, at a tender age of 14. Music has been in his blood since childhood. The love of being a dj started when his mother bought a sound system and dj equipment for his elder brother, Dj Vinny. 

Ever since then, he has been playing in many places and in big functions in and around Limpopo and Gauteng. Glenton is now seen as the best dj around Limpopo and Gaunteng, more especially in his hometown, Thohoyandou.  Young and aspiring djs look up to him and come to him for lessons, tips and hints.

 The evolution of Glenton’s Dj career started in 2010 when he went to Pretoria to further his studies. That is where he met other djs and promoters and started building a name for himself. He has played in TUT bashes, parties at Gizara’s Car Wash, 2010 Centre, Ster Kinekor ( Sterland ), Club Changes, Mirunzini,  Fountains Valley, Times 4 Club, Mavhele Lounge, Marafco, and also in private, upmarket places like Thatch Fields Estate, West of Centurion. He has also done promotion work, promoting shopping centres like Sunnypark Mall ( Pretoria ), Ster Kinekor ( Arcadia ), Sammy Marks Square ( Pretoria ), Tramshed ( Pretoria ) and Quagga Centre ( Pretoria West ), with Lovemoretainments.


Glenton plays a variety of of house music, from Commercial, Deep, Tribal , Soul, Wayback,. Glenton believes that Time and Place are the main important aspects to consider when you are going to play in different places. E.g., you cannot play commercial house in places like House 22.

Imowasoul Music is the new home for a new age style of making music. Imowasoul- an acronym for, "In My Own World’s Aesthetic Soul”, is just that- an artist’s dream music label to do and be who they are, and cater to an audience who can relate .Imowasoul is a genre of it’s own, and a new kind of music label- where great music is made, giving the industry something new to sing about. 

Established in 2009, the label is growing and steadily making its mark.
 Answering to the ply of artists for freedom of expression in their music, and a share in their craft, Sean Mokhethi, Mr Muthakhii and Khrom3, founded the label. Being producers and DJ’s themselves it was easy to relate to the frustration experienced by many of their fellow music mates. So instead of forming a record label where they would make their profits from exploiting others, they formed a label where both the label and the artist could mutually benefit from each other. This then gave birth to Imowasoul Music-an independent, distribution and licensing music label, releasing and representing the freshest in alternative/psychadelic/experimental/nu-disco/nu-jazz/trip-hop/grime dance music. 

With 5 signed acts, and radio singles already on rotation on mainstream and digital radio, such as YFM & Rhythm-100-Radio. 
The focus is on appealing to current audiences, as well as creating a new group of people who still love the old, adapt to the new but crave for a taste of the unknown. That is the essence of what the label is all about.
 
Being the new kids on the block, they are heavy into exposing music digitally, but still rely on providing a tangible; hardcopy for the man on the street .It is this accessibility factor that the label wants to provide.

An independent label, they are, but small, is not what you call a group of individuals with a great vision to elevate, transform and evolve the music industry forever.
