Born Nare Moabelo, Tize is a self-taught Contemporary Record Producer, Composer, Live Act Performing Artist and a dj based in Johannesburg, (South Africa)
Hailing all the way from the motherland in the Northern Province, Polokwane, Limpopo emerges a creative musician.
My sonic journey began late 2011, that’s when I  truly discovered my burning passion and love for music, I was introduced to a certain digital audio workstation by a fellow music brother with the intent of grooming an aspiring record producer/ composer. Ever since then I couldn’t stop, let alone denying the fact that a large part of me has always been in touch with music at tender age, my musical background leaves traces of a remarkable sense of comprehending the sonic world in an un-deniable way which enables me as an individual to adapt to various musical sounds with the desire to not only comprehend sounds and their vast sonic structures but to also enjoy without intentionally trying to analyse the music itself. From time in memorial I visit my catalogue to remind myself why I began on this journey and continue to count my blessings. As a matter of fact I remember my first ever release with one of the remarkable dance record labels ,  a solo release titled ‘Stone Down’ licenced under Within Da Beat, a division / sub label of Surreal Sounds Music. A record label which has signed and licensed music from super talented music producers like Da Capo, El Makuka ,Kususa, Baardman, KareyendaSoul the list is endless. I’ve also had the honours of being featured in a various artist compilation “WL4OUR Music” with an introduction song titled ‘Panther Rose’ compiled by Swizz. Followed by a project for Red Bull Studio’s featured creative dance track titled ‘Cascade’ alongside musical giants like FKA Mash, Mike Pieterse, Lemma and Winnie Deep. My second official release was a 3 Tracker EP titled ‘’The Crossover EP’’ with Candid Beings Records , a newly found SA  based dance label releasing music from both known talented musicians and up-coming producers. This led to a debut EP release titled “Lost In Translation EP” with the re-known Eswatini record label , Antidote Music which has to date signed and licensed music from talented musicians, the  likes of !Sooks , Parcel , Ziyawakazitha, Sarnilo , Grilixy . I guess I began to receive recognition from living legends in the music Idustry (Dance Music), A song titled ‘Ballards’ taken from L.I.T EP was charted by the legendary Shur-I-Kan, this opened doors for me abroad as I had the honours to release my 3rd EP with a German, Berlin based record label, Electric Friends Music, signing & licencing “Bit’s ‘O Honey EP”. Another international release followed up with U.S based dance record label, Pasqua Records under their sub label Pasqua Records SA which marks my 4th EP release titled ‘’Begin Again EP’’ which has done pretty well for the label and myself as a music producer and a dj, The entire EP was banging the Traxsource Charts since the Pre – Oder’s, marking 4 out of all 5 songs being featured in Dj Charts. Returning Back home in SA I finally had the honours of working with 2lani The Warrior, one of the dance music industry pioneers and a major contributor in shaping the South African Dance Music to date. 2lani runs and founded 3 record labels all SA based, namely Do It Now Recordings, DeepStitched Records & Music Basket which plays a significant role in shaping the music industry.  A jam packed 3tracker EP titled ‘Retrospect EP’ was singed and licenced under Deep Stitched Records which marks my 5th EP release. Fast forward 2022, having to relocate from my hometown to the city “Jozi”, Johannesburg has further opened doors for my music career in immense imaginable ways one could have ever sought to think. I began attending Dance Events, Festivals & Music workshops to broaden my perspective, network skills and abilities. I met Byron “Busik” Ashley at a dance event called The Lab, Whom has majorly contributed to my music career. He is one of the co-founders of Deep House South Africa and a major contributor in the dance music industry. He asked me to prepare a young 1 hour guest mix for DHSA, followed by another guest mix for Slow Sessions, a dance podcast show in SA. I’ve also had the honours to play at Kitchener’s Carvery Bar In Braamfontein , which is one of the prolific dance music event venues , Also played booked sets  at Rose bank’s Keyes Art Mile at Mesh Club couple of times , I’ve curated a show in Sandton, KramerVille alongside Walkman Alkhebu , one of the most consistent musicians I know. Not to forget to mention playing booked sets in Maboneng at Shakers Bar, Africana Lounge & Poolside.
