Magna Recordings is a Portuguese Label founded in 2000 by Carlos Manaça and Paul Jays. With vinyl releases until 2007 by Artists like Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, D-Formation, Boris, Richie Santana, Peter Bailey, among many others, Magna Recordings was one of the first and it’s one of the most respected Portuguese underground Labels.

After 2007 only releases in digital format and has original tracks by artists like Mendo, Natalino Nunes, Stephane K & Koutarou A., Chris Staropoli, Dextro among others.

Miss Sheila was born in South Africa, then moved to New York by the age of 7, there she lived her childhood and as a teenager moved to Portugal where she soon discovered clubbing, dance music and DJs. Fascinated by the art of mixing records and music, she decided to learn and she quickly gets invited to spin at a local night club were she is heard by a DJ agency that immediately proposed management. In 1999 Miss Sheila started to spin on a regular basis at the hottest underground clubs and festivals in the country, that helped her get much attention and in 2001 she was nominated for the best newcomer award by Dance Club Magazine. Since then she has received lots of TV, magazine, and radio exposure. Miss Sheila has gained notoriety for her vibes, at the time weaving from house music to tech house and techno. She has played in Portugal, Spain, Belgium, Holland, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg, USA, Canada, Africa, etc. and has also played alongside many of today's superstar DJs.
Miss Sheila released the track “Sheila's Temptation” co-produced with Joeski on Tango Records in 2001, that gave way to her future releases as a producer till nowadays, on labels like Autektone, Happy Techno, Unity Records or her own imprint Digital Waves, were she releases original tunes by national and international talent. 
Miss Sheila has proved to be consistent, charismatic and a friendly DJ, she's definitely taken female DJing into a whole new era in her country and now looks forward to showing the world why her unique technique and rhythm gave her the title of Queen of Techno in Portugal.

        that made Miguel Rendeiro one of the greatest names of the
         Portuguese electronic music scene.

             Mentor and creator of the biggest beach party in Europe,
         Energie Azurara, this producer/dj is one of Connect Music
         Agency founders and partner of the innovative Anti-Pop Music
         Festival, now enshrined as Neopop.

             His eclectic taste combined with technical skill and a
         shrewd intelligence already rewarded him with prizes, awards
         and many invitations for the best and biggest national and
         international events.

             Owner of a silver disc. Today, he is invited to perform
         in clubs like Watergate (Berlin), City Hall (Barcelona) or
         the London 1001 and The Egg, and at festivals like
         Creamfields. His productions for labels such as Brick House
         Records (Germany), OKO Records (London), and the consecrated
         Get Physical Music (Germany), placed him in the world circuit
         and earned him remixes from Phonique, Lopazz or Muzzaik,
         among others.

             His latest ep, "Mafaldinha, co-produced by Lopazz,
         received praise from artists such as Laurent Garnier, John
         Digweed, Luciano, Josh Wink, or 2000 and One, enshrining him
         as one of the best Portuguese artists with international
         prestige.

As DJ and Producer Frank Maurel is one of the most notable artists in his country.
Founder of Unless Records, he developed an active and important role in the cultural growth of dance music in Portugal, being awarded the MMC 2010 Career Award. At the age of 15, he started his DJ career at Club Europa, and it was at the age of 20 that he became a resident dj at the best club of the 90s, Rock´s. 
He quickly became one of the most respected Portuguese DJs.
His first editions were released on Kaos Records in 2001, having subsequently edited on labels such as Shaboom, Twisted, Sondos until the most recent works for Ovum, Transmit Recordings, Under No Illusion, Natura Viva, Pronto Musique, Raw works, Cerebellum, Bedrock Records, Sublease Music, Unless Records, Faina Records, HomeMade and Spectrum.

Carlos Manaça is one of the main Portuguese DJ’s and producers and has been an essential part of the country’s Underground dance scene since its very beginning. 
In 2026 celebrates 40 years since his first job as a DJ but his schedule is still busy. He plays mainly in Portugal but also plays in countries like Japan, England, Switzerland, Brazil, Luxembourg, Poland, Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Angola, Mozambique, Russia, USA, Canada and Spain, where he lived from 2002 to 2021. He has now moved back to Oporto, Portugal.

As a producer his name started to get international exposure in 1995 with his remixes of O.L.N. "Oporto Deep Cuts EP" released on TRIBAL AMERICA (and Tribal UK), one of the main worldwide Labels at the time. His “Reboot 144” (Acid Error Mix) was the A Side of that release and was supported by no other than Danny Tenaglia, among many other artists.

In 1999 founded Magna Recordings, one of the first underground dance Labels in Portugal with releases by Victor Calderone, Chus & Ceballos, Richie Santana, Mendo, D-Formation, Natalino Nunes, Stephane K & Koutarou M, Peter Bailey, among many others. In 2001 co-produced the worldwide hit “The Strong Rhythm” with his long time friends Chus & Ceballos, included on “Deep Dish – Global Underground 021: Moscow” CD compilation which gave them their first worldwide success reaching the top of the dance sales charts all over the globe. 

With releases on Labels like SCI+TEC Audio, Stereo Productions, Toolroom, Orange Recordings, Transmit, Otto Music, Kinetika Records, Beat Freak Recordings, Moody Recordings, Kult Records, District Audio and his own Magna Recordings, among many others, Carlos Manaça is more motivated that ever. He still loves delivering his typical Tech House & Techno tribal influenced grooves to the clubbers every weekend, and feels that still has a lot of music to bring to the global Dance Scene.

Being also an Audio Engineer (by SAE Institute Madrid) and head of Beat Works Mix & Mastering, in 2022 started as a Mastering teacher at ETIC Lisbon, one of the best and well known audio school’s in Portugal, as well as an invited master class Mastering teacher at Pro-DJ in Oporto.

DJ Vibe is the undisputed figurehead of the Portuguese electronic dance music scene. His dip into the worlds of music and DJing started in his early teens while he helped his father in his record store, which was a focal point for DJs in the Lisbon scene. At 15, he was already DJing. Early on, his dexterity on the boards and penchant for long sets (sometimes close to seven straight hours) attracted a devoted following, which only intensified when, in the late '80s, he became one of the first DJs in Portugal to adopt the then-emergent sounds of house and techno.

His DJ fame soon led to production and remix work. It was as a remixer that he first scored a milestone, by remixing then-popular band Ban's "Mundo de Aventuras" in a house music style, turning in the first modern dance music remix ever made in the Portuguese music scene. A year later, he joins short-lived Madchester-inspired act LX90, lending his production skills. Following a couple more remixes, Vibe then linked up with sound engineer and producer Rui Da Silva (at the time known as Doctor J) to form the Underground Sound of Lisbon. Their debut 12", Chapter I, caused an uproar on Portuguese dancefloors in late 1993. 
But that was just the beginning, as the B-side of the record, "So Get Up”,  started to attract attention from influential DJs such as Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia. Soon that interest transformed into an international licensing deal through Tribal Records, sending what was at first a B-side track to main song status and acclaim on the world's dancefloors, culminating with a respectful number 42 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Maxi-Singles Sales charts and giving birth to a dance music classic in the process.

DJ Vibe seized the international acclaim to further his status in Portugal. 
In 1995, he scored yet another milestone, as he manned the boards for Kaos Totally Mixed, the first commercially available DJ-mixed compilation coming from both a Portuguese label and DJ. A relentless DJing schedule (both national and international), further production and remix work (by himself and in conjunction with others), and a good number of DJ-mixed releases only further increased his rank as Portugal's leading figure in the electronic dance music scene. 
More remixes and extended DJ sets to come, means that DJ Vibe will remain one of the most influential figures in House/Electronic Music of the past, present and future times, celebrating more than 30 years of a brilliant career.
