Known through the streets as the King of Dallas, Smurf Franklin, is an American hip hop recording artist from Dallas well known neighborhood , Oakcliff , Texas.
Smurf Franklin is the co founder / co CEO of Runnin’ To The Check Entertainment along with his longtime friend, music producer & business partner, R.T.C. Sweets.
Smurf Franklin grew up with the strong presence of hip hop music his entire life.
Rap music was played in the household by his mother on a regular basis, establishing himself as a rapper only in November 2015, Smurf Franklin found his niche portraying his upbringing and lifestyle in his rap lyrics.
"People would always look at me and get the impression that I was a rapper. I had the look1  One day my buddy  started to tell me I had talent,  and that if I worked harder, I could actually live the look!
