Giovanni David Coradin, known by his stage name, Gio Da’ Gift is a Dominican Christian rap artist. Born in Washington Heights area, located in New York City, on March 4th, 1989. He spent most of his toddler years in New York and later relocated to Northern New Jersey with his family.

Inner struggle…

For most of his adolescent years, Giovanni struggled with self-hate and depression. He was confused as to who he was as a person. He struggled with his identity and what he would become in the future. For years, Giovanni had thoughts of suicide and other dark thoughts that consumed his mind.

Strongholds…

As years went by, he had multiple loveless relationships with women he never cared about. This loveless void led Giovanni to watch pornography. Pornography, alcohol, and drugs were used to escape everyday life. Giovanni thought he was worthless, no good, and nothing great would ever come out of him. Not only did Gio struggle, so did his family. Nevertheless, he was able to find grace and mercy when he accepted Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior.

New Creature…

It was at the age of eighteen when Giovanni finally accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. In July 2011 he linked up with DJ I Rock Jesus and released his first solo mixtape titled “The Cost Mixtape” which received thousands of downloads and was used to bring many to Jesus. 

Now, Gio Da Gift is determined to reach souls that are currently tormented. His passion is to reach the lost souls within this dying world. However, his burden is for those who struggle with pornography, alcohol and drugs. Because of this, his music has made him more relatable with those struggling with the same strongholds as he once did. He’s determined to reach the masses. However, he understands an effective Christian rap artist will not only know how to rap to the masses, but also minister the Word of God. The two should go hand and hand. For when the music stops the Word of God will remain. He knows he can’t be effective in a dying world without knowing God’s Word. Giovanni wants the world to see the love of Christ in him. If you speak with Giovanni, he willfully admits God rescued him from his depravity

Gio Da’ Gift is currently working on his first EP called "The Broken State EP." This CD will be released independently and will be available on all digital online stores on March 4th, 2014.

MC Joel was born in Bogota (Colombia) in the 80s. At the age of 10 years old, MC Joel began his musical career studying in Colombia at the Youth Symphony.
 MC Joel’s passion for rap took a unique path, in which he learned from his own experiences and mistakes. During his career he realized after losing it all, the one who was always with him was God. In 2006, with the support of his mother, Pastors of the Church “Mencos Shaddai” in Denver CO, MC Joel released his first mixed tape called, “Time Anointing.” In mid-2006, MC Joel released his second mixed tape called, “True Word.” In 2009, MC Joel collaborated with the help and blessing of TRE9, C.E.O. of Much Luvv Records, and Von Won was introduced and became part of SHEEP IN WOLVES CLOTHING AND RECORDS AYJLIS where he recorded his first album “Walking In Faith.” “Walking In Faith” is an album narrating their walk with Christ.
 


MC Joel is also a Music Producer and owns S.O.D.S. Productions or “Sons Of Da Street Productions.”
 
It is God who changed his course in life, the subject of his songs, and his pessimistic approach, for a life of faith and trust in God.

 Nacido en Bogota (Colombia) en los años 80, a la edad de los 10 años empieza su carrera musical entrando a estudiar en la Sinfonica Juvenil de Colombia.
 La pasion por el RAP lo lleva por otros caminos en los cuales aprende por sus propias experiencias y errores . En el transcurso de su carrera se da cuenta que despues de perder todo el unico que estaba siempre con el es Dios, en 2006 gracias al apoyo de su Mama, Pastores Mencos de la Iglesia el Shaddai en Denver CO, lanza su primer mixtape llamado Tiempo De Uncion, a mediados del 2006 lanza su segundo mixtape llamado Palabra Verdadera y en el 2009 llega a MUCH LUVV RECORDS con la ayuda y bendicion de TRE9 C.E.O. DE MUCH LOVV RECORDS es introducido a Von Won y entra a ser parte de SHEEP IN WOLVES CLOTHING AND AYJLIS RECORDS donde graba su primer album Caminando En Fe. es un albun que narra su caminar con Cristo. 
Es Dios quien cambia el rumbo de su vida, el tema de sus canciones y el enfoque pesimista , por una vida de fe y confianza en Dios .
