My metal project, mixing grind, black metal, old school death metal and doom metal. I improvised the drum track then recorded everything else around it.

Grit Salt - Kvlt

I wanted to record the guitars as natural as possible, I recorded with one room mic and then DI to get a clearer sound - the guitar sounds fuller in the room mic which I prefer but you can here my Dad knocking stuff around in the background #woops. I really like making natural sounding compositions and then messing them around with myths and editing. The guitars were improvised then the rest of the synths were layered around that.
