Originarios de Uruapan, Michoacán, Tierra Cali inicia su carrera tomando como bandera de identidad la música de tierra caliente, el ritmo de tamborazo michoacano, pero con un estilo alegre y dinámico en sus interpretaciones, por lo que el público los ha nombrado “La alegría calentana”.

La música de Tierra Cali está respaldada por Discos Ciudad, con quienes grabaron el material que les abrió las puertas al gusto de la gente.

De ahí nacieron grandes éxitos que se escucharon con fuerza en Estados Unidos, Michoacán y entidades circunvecinas.

Además de nombrarlos “La alegría calentana”, Tierra Cali son considerados los creadores del “sacadito”, un paso muy peculiar en el baile tierra calenteño.

Juno Wattâs music is tricky to define. He incorporates many genres and goes to places we donât think have been explored before; it is consistently inconsistent. We like to describe it as a mixture of âsarcastic rockâ and âpessimistic popâ. The sophisticated lyrics often discuss serious issues, juxtaposing the upbeat tempo and betraying a subversive attitude to the norms of the music industry. Every track has been written, performed and engineered by Juno himself, he has a huge catalogue of material and is expected to release regularly throughout 2015 leading up to his debut album in 2016.
