Paul James is a DJ best known for Jungle and Drum and Bass in Texas. With almost 20 years of experience of DJing spanning from locations from Wisconsin to the southern states and overseas. He has hosted Stateside Sessions on "Our Mix Review" radio United Kingdom (2013-2014), "The Rinse Cycle" on Bounce Squad DJs radio out of Atlanta GA. (2016-2017) and held a resident DJ spot throughout Texas.

I am a guitarist, drummer and theremin player who has been actively performing in Austin, TX and elsewhere with various musical projects for 2 decades.  My projects include Line of Fire (psychedelic rockcore power trio with trombone), Heller Wade Experience (carnivalesque jazz-rock duo), Aurora Plastics Company (organic experimental avant-noise ensemble), Ouiness (improv fusion ensemble led by Emily Summerfield - I play theremin) and Dixie Chixx Triple XXX (female noise duo with amplified cello, keys and guitar, currently on hiatus).  I also founded and organize the longest-running 3-day experimental and outsider music festival in North America, Yeast by Sweet Beast Fest now in its 18th year in Austin.

PSYCHEDELEPHANT is this thing. Described by many, understood by few, appreciated by a few more than that, we are Janksters of mantras, intonations, and groove identification. Sounds a bit like acid jazz..or space-rock..or psychedelic folk dub..I'm not sure really. I don't even fully comprehend it. It is about as vague as that other thing and it has this aura of mystique about it. ..but it's tons of fun!
Nominated for a Fort Worth Weekly Music Award in 2012 for Best Experimental/Avant-Garde Act and heroes of many a house party, PSYCHEDELEPHANT (pronounced psycho-deli-fans) is an indie two-ish piece band having relied only on their wits and imaginations (and computers) to handle all of their own recording needs, concept art, promotion/marketing, community collaboration, and development in the most psychedelic manner imaginable.
There are build-ups and drops. There is looping with a pinch of modulation. There will be people grooving. It is highly improvisational in its structure. It is for the betterment of bandkind.
