Getting asked to do the remix was great - J has a great voice, and the band deserve all the success they've been getting, (the album has sold Platinum, they're winning awards, they're touring all over the place)... I thought the voice deserved a more soulful approach than you usually hear with these guys, so I slowed it down. In my head was the idea of what Raphael Saadiq's Skyy Can You Feel Me would have sounded like if it was a slow house track. Something slightly latin, slightly jazz, and slightly neo soul... I have an alternative exclusive version of this for the forthcoming QB CD.
