The High $ Boyz

Big Lou and City Pimp are the "HIGH DOLLA BOYZ" . Big Lou and City Pimp teamed up as a group in 2009 while doing shows and promoting their Music throughout the U.S. They have known each other for over 10 years and have had musical collaborations in the past. Although both are strong solo Artists, their past and strong friendship made them realize that their combination brings them to a new level.

They have constantly been in the studio since their teaming up, recording their debut Album "True Story" for their Fans. The High $ Boyz are on a pace to bring the music Industry a fresh change. Big Lou and City Pimp are Artists who bring lyrical heat, vocal recognition and most important originality which sets them apart from all other Artists. 

Back in 2010 The High $ Boyz recorded a single "Zone Out" with Multi-Platinum Producer and Recording Artist from the West Coast, Daz Dillinger, which received very positive feedback and regular radio play. They have regular Radio releases for their singles, performances and Interviews to make sure that they stay current and to make their mark in the main stream Music scene. 

The High $ Boyz perform locally to remain faithful and true to their roots but have also been concert headliners and openers for Stars such as Yo Gotti, Young Buck, Lil Flip (Girls gone Wild), Juvenile, Twista, Bubba Sparks and the list goes on! They also took part and performed at the 2011 MLK day Parade in Texas. 

Our street team brings the hard work of the High $ Boyz to the streets and are constantly promoting and gaining new Fans.

After years of concerts, publications, and collaborations, Marco Pernice produces electro, funk music, with rock / blues contaminations. It is his new dimension: songs like DJ KILLER, THE ELECTRIC POPE, ALIEN, MR PRESIDENT, FUNK U (REMIX), MY MIND, NO FUNKY DOWN, GEMINI, are now hits in the international indie radio circuit, and entered various official indie rankings such as "Radio Indie Alliance", "Earone", " Classifica Indie (Italy)", "Euro Indie Music Chart ", "ITunes", "Amazon", "Ethnocloud.com" as well as rankings of individual stations.

He grew up musically listening great musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Vernon Reid and people like that, working as a radio speaker and guitar teacher. In 2005 he followed an internship with the American guitarist Mike Stern (among the many collaborations: Miles Davis, Jaco Pastorious, Eric Johnson, Steve Vai, Dave Weckl)

He began his musical career in Italy between bands, concerts, festivals and record productions in the early 90's. Over the years he played in prestigious Italian festivals such as Time Zones, Taranta Power, Bari Jazz Festival, Summer Festivals, etc ... in artistic programs that included artists such as Lou Reed, John Cale, Popol Whu, Uri Caine. Just as there were numerous radio passages on local and national FM radios and web radios, reviews in local and national newspapers, magazines and on TV.
From January 2022 the MY MIND, DJ KILLER (Radio Edit), FIRE video clip in rotation on the "Spazio Musica" television program, with visibility on Smart TV and on-demand Set-Top Box in 200 million devices connected to the internet, visible in 130 countries in the world in the best national and international brands , and on digital terrestrial in Italy, Usa, Chile, Switzerland and Argentina (also in Italian metros and airports). The single MY MIND was chosen as the theme song of an Italian radio show.
