Beethum's core consists of four friends, although occasionally additional musicians are drawn in. 

In the studio Beethum have been lucky to have some wonderful guitar contributions courtesy of Neil Smith (This Is The Kit) we were also extremely happy to have the opportunity to work with Adrian Utley on tracks for the third as yet unnamed album. 

Before the pandemic, Beethum played a small invite-only gig in a local church hall. We were delighted to have such notable guests as John Parish and Aldous Harding in attendance. We plan to organise more performances when the pandemic subsides.

As a band Beethum are drawn to  textures and sounds from a wide palette of sources.  Acoustic and electronic instruments sit side-by-side, sometimes easily and sometimes discordantly, to create a sound that can be both beautiful and challenging.

For a long time Beethum have been creating music in their basement studio as a kind of cathartic artistic endeavour. Now they would really like people to hear it. All comments and advice are genuinely appreciated, so feel free to get in touch.
