The BPM Festival, which stands for “Bartenders, Promoters, Musicians” was created in 2008 as a post-New Year’s gathering of industry professionals and has grown to a 70,000+ global gathering of DJs, producers, revelers and industry professionals; a must for any music lover with a discerning taste for quality underground dance music. Over the last decade, BPM parties were hosted both day and night at multiple venues. In 2017, The BPM Festival announced expansions with events being held in September in Portimão, Portugal and Tel Aviv, Israel. Newly announced, BPM returns for its winter edition in its new home of Tamarindo, Costa Rica from January 15-19, 2020.

Jamlud is a DJ and producer living in Johannesburg, South Africa. He is originally from eMkhondo (Mpumalanga Province) and is passionate about house music. The year 2010 is really when things kicked off for him musically. He learned to DJ that year in Cape Town, and then the following year, he moved to Johannesburg to further his studies in music production. He has had about three monikers over this 10-year period, all because he had difficulty reconciling the fact that he had varying and evolving tastes in music. Nonetheless, with 'Jamlud', that reconciliation has been realized as he has accepted that being versatile is something to be embraced. So, expect a variety of music genres from him.

He has released music from his own label "Housefontein Precinct" as well as on "Atjazz Record Company", "Get Physical Music" and "Do It Now Recordings".
