The Core Sessions originated back in the early 2000's and took the UK hardcore scene by storm ! Dj Defective (Tim Bodiam) & Mc Skyz (Jamie Mack) was an unstoppable force known for their unique Core Sessions mix series. Thorough the years their style & sound developed. Defective started to experiment with the harder styles of 170 BPM music complemented with Mc Skyz where the duo hit their peak with the huge hard hitting Core Sessions 13 showcasing a new sound of Powerstomp combined some Defective's production & collaborations. 

After a 6 year break away Defective & Skyz have teamed back up to bring The Core Sessions back to life to bring you all our style & sound but on another level! 



PSR has been in scene now for over 9 years now and started to see some of the hard work that he has put into the scene pay off, with the success of his two new brands showcasing some of the freshest up and coming talent with a few house hold names thrown in for good measure, so make sure you look out for Illusionz & SOB nights coming to a town near you

PSR is know for playing a fair few styles but mainly know for his bounce sets , with PSR being made we love bounce resident at the end of 2010 

PSR was also given a opportunity by Gordy who run G-Force artist management, which has opened more doors for him

With music taste changing all the time PSR new direction in 2011 will see him playing house / electro under his alias MR P 

PSR has a fair few collabs under his belt with producers such as Tom berry, Scott Genetik , Paul F and Kye Shand , John Ridout, with plans of more collabs with some big names watch this space , also learning how to make a track aint easy but picking it up nicely make sure you check out his soundcloud for updates on production

John Holder
(JD Holder)
Born in Farnborough, Hampshire. John grew up in the United Kingdom, after ten years of working and living in London he has returned to his old stomping ground where he can focus on his love of all things Trance!
 
Although he enjoys the lighter progressive, uplifting, vocal and euphoric side of things. His passion lies deep within the rich percussion, throbbing bassline and moody ambient synth of dark and tech trance. This is where he is truly in his element. Where he can express  his creative talents to the fullest.
 
No stranger to underground dance music. John's interests were tweeked by the early 90's happy hardcore scene. But the emergence of trance during the mid 90's soon grabbed his attention.
By 2005 John had rekindled his love of hardcore, he hit the decks and in 2009 precured himself a residency at Hypersonic Hardcore! But the pull of trance proved to be to strong and by 2011 he had become disillusioned with the whole hardcore scene, feeling unfulfilled, he said goodbye to his roots and threw himself headlong into the world of trance. Where his years of experience, passion, dedication and skills have evolved and exploded to a point that he has now become a serious competetor among the hordes of trance DJ's out there today and one to most definately to watch out for!
