Born and raised in Dallas Texas, Mean Mauri is  one of the city’s top tastemakers currently heard on one of the  nation’s biggest radio station, Maxima in Dallas/Ft Worth.  Because of his incredible party-vibe energy along with his  comedic personality, thousands of listeners tune in daily  to hear his show entitled “Hot Nights with Mean Mauri.” Entertainment has  driven Mauri ever since he was 8 years old. As a kid growing up he started recording himself using his mom's tape recorder and his father had to constantly discipline him for prank calling other family members. Mauri started his radio career by working as a volunteer at KNON 89.3 FM in Dallas. There  he began and later made his way into Morning Radio. Mauri has hosted every time slot from mornings to nights and has interviewed many talents which include Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West , Rihanna, Beyonce & Bill Clinton. He fell in love with the power of the microphone and  in early 2004, Mauri hit  the television airwaves as Producer/Host  for the highly rated TV Show "DMX TV" which ended in 2011.  In addition, the show was rated #2 in the spanish market. Besides maintaining valuable relationships with leading artists and being successful both in television and radio, Mauri has recently started working with the Dallas Mavericks as one of their host. With his entrepreneur mentality and vision for entertainment, he currently is working on a web series for 2014. In his spare time Mauri enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports, making fajitas on the grill and playing basketball with the guys. Mauri also volunteers in his community every year along with his  family at  The North Texas Food Bank and Dallas Life Foundation.

Drawing inspiration from a variety of musical genres including Regional Mexican and Latin Urban, Peso Pluma is reinventing the genre with his sultry vocals and eclectic sounds. In June 2023 he became the first artist to dominate both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. simultaneously with two different songs: “Ella Baila Sola” with  and “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 55” alongside. 

Earlier this year, he released “Chanel” with  and they performed the track together at the 2023 Latin American Music Awards and Peso Pluma was a surprise guest during her mainstage performance at weekend one of Coachella 2023. Having recently appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Peso Pluma is breaking the mold and showing the next generation of artists that a musician’s superpower is remaining true to themselves. Signed to Prajin Parley Inc from Prajin Music Group and Worms Music, Peso Pluma also recently launched his own record label Double P Records (in partnership with Prajin Music Group) which he will release his upcoming album under.
