It's been a while since I posted up a mix let alone on Soundcloud.

I wanted to bring back a mix series I used to do called "Soundbytes"...and basically, the theme of the mixes are just whatever musical mood I'm feeling at that moment. The last one (Volume 4) was done in 2006...that's like 18 years ago.....sheesh!

With this particular mix, I wanted to revisit the R&B/Soul vibe....some new ones, some somewhat old ones, & some obscure joints that might've pass under the radar. I actually enjoyed making this mix. Since Summer has officially started (June 2024), I think this is a perfect summer mix to bump in the ride while cruising the shoreline, or vibe to it on a nice evening while drinking wine with that special someone.

Using an initial theme, the melody and harmony are taken away, distorted or otherwise changed to musically depict a number of common visual disturbances and conditions, from the sparseness of peripheral vision loss to the hallucinatory Charles Bonnet syndrome.
