Izzy Bizu is a singer songwriter hailing from South West London. Born to an Ethiopian Mother and English Father she grew up listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Bettye Swann, Betty Wright and James Brown and draws on these influences alongside newer influences, Amy Winehouse and Adele to create a fusion of soul, funk, jazz and pop that sounds classic and brand spanking new all at once.

Combining the sounds and styles of commercial modern day pop with a splash of the funk rock of old, Match Factory bring pop back to it's roots. The band began life in late 2010, and have had some great experiences since then. The then 7-piece band, have recorded at Abbey Road Studios London, supported established artists such as; The Wombats, Noah and the Whale and Hadouken! as well as gaining plenty of gigging and festival experience all over the UK. Now, looking to take that next step in the music industry, this exciting four piece reside in London, looking to show the nation and it's capital exactly what it is that pop music has lost.
