Danish independent recording artist Sémmane is combining elements of Urban Pop and Soul into her music. Re-emerging from her commercially successful past as a winner of Danish Eurovision, Sémmane is directing her art towards a more independent, personal approach. She has emancipated from the commercial, male-dominated music industry as a strong young woman who has become her own leader.

“Nobody’s Prey” is her debut single under her new artist name “Sémmane” from her to be released album “The Art of Being You.” With lyrics such as 
 
“I don’t wanna be nobody’s prey, I don’t want your hands around my faith / Tell me why
you’re standing in my way / I wish we could find our peace someday,” 
 
the song “Nobody’s Prey” tells the story of conquering fear. “It is about how fear is literally sitting beside me and how it can hold us back from being ourselves” says Sémmane. “It's a conversation with my personified anxieties and finding out that love can conquer and defeat them.”
