The project ’8Bit Brothers’ consists of two young composers/djs, playing chiptune, 8 bit, chip-techno, 8 bit d’n'b. The project appeared in 2008. The basic idea of it was the nostalgia for hours they had been spending playing video games & later, some time passed, this rememberance became the fundamental of their chip tune music making. Having a production experience, solo, as well as a part of different projects, brothers continued exploring chiptune aesthetics in their tracks. 8 bit sound became prevailing, but it couldn’t displace their addiction to techno-industrial. Thus, 8Bit Brothers became erectors of chip-techno style, and they keep on moving in this direction.
