Hailing from Glasgow McKellar is singer/songwriter/producer David McKellar. No stranger to the industry having already supported acts such as Shed 7 at Glasgow’s O2 Academy and world famous Barrowland Ballroom.

In recent years David has worked with lots of different musicians including the Verve legends Nick McCabe and Si Jones, David Rossi of Goldfrapp and Coldplay, Mig (Portishead) Amelia Tucker now all members of Black Submarine. This collaboration would see his outstanding vocals on the track "Rope Soul’d" which would make it onto the John Martyn tribute album, Johnny boy would love this. This contribution would sit along side artists such as Beck, the cure and Paolo Nutini.
Vocals also on Hector Bizerk track "Seldom a word we don't say too often" from the Nobody seen nothing album.
Other pervious collaborations have included work with Paul Banks (Shed 7), Stu Fletcher (Seahorses) and Maxi (Audioweb and drummer for Ian Brown pre Stone Roses reunion).
An impressive array of contributions and collaborations that secure his steady rise up the ranks.

Singer McKellar also plays the drums, guitar and bass and has a wealth of experience in all aspects of production having mixed, recorded and produced such acts like the Twilight Sad. The demos which helped them land their record deal.

Influenced by acts such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Crosby, Stills and Nash and Young. Buffalo Springfield. David's material has been causing quite a storm on the Glasgow music scene gaining him a loyal legion of fans and a huge amount of recognition, such as Camglen Radio having him as their Featured Artist of The Week, all in such a short space of time.

A child of Nigeria by way of South East London MC Afrikan Boy. His sound has often been described as a fusion of Hip-Hop, Grime & Afrobeat. His lyrics are sharp, varied & multi-dimensional. Whether UK slanguistics or Naija Pidgin Afrikan Boy knows how to get his point across with the bass-heavy sounds of urban London and the rhythmic beats of Nigeria. 

Citing Fela Kuti, Shina Peters and King Sunny Ade to 2Pac and Dizzee Rascal as influences, Afrikan Boy’s lyrics are as dynamic as his musical tastes. Championed by the likes of Lauren Laverne from BBC 6Music, it was his humorous ode to a discount supermarket, the grime-infused ‘One Day I Went to Lidl’, that caught titled the ear of underground fans. He’s continued to captivate audiences since then. With a new album due this Summer ''Life In The West'' its promises to be the Meltdown year musically.
