
R.Eight:35 (pronounced as R- eight - thirty-five) is an independent Christian urban music group based in Lilongwe, Malawi and currently has 5 members namely, Maurice Chawezi Phiri, Prince Houston Lwanda , Martha Mwenda (Marty), Stan Gray Khomba and Makhali Mang’anya (M-Khali). The name R.Eight:35 stands for the Bible verse Romans 8:35: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” The answer to this question is ‘nothing’ and can be found in the subsequent verses after Romans 8:35.  This Bible verse serves as the group’s incentive to depend on God and let Him carry out His work in the group, as well as a constant reminder of the inseparable love of Jesus Christ. 

I am saved by Grace and the grace of the Lord Only. I love what I do. Spreading the Gospel through my talent. Am open and I love friends. You\'ll get to know more later on!

I was Born in 1993 June 16th. I came to the Lord after Understanding how much his Presence made in my Life and How dull it would be without him. I started rapping in 2010 cause it\'s when I recognized my talent. So I decided to do it for nobody else but GOD. I love what I do and I do what I love. I also make beats from time to time, so if you need any, halla.

A life not lived is still lost so i happen to think its better to live life as an adventure as compared to putting ourselves or indeed the Lord\'s potential in a box of can and cants...... life is a walk on water, its high time we got outta the boats we like so much.

Khetwayo is a Malawian rapper whose music communicates hope, love, justice and God’s ability to transform lives. As a musician, he has established himself as one of the best Malawian hip hop artists performing with a live band. He was the first artist to go on a University tour covering 9 campuses in the 4 major cities of Lilongwe, Mzuzu, Blantyre and Zomba in 2015. He has shared the stage with US artists Da’ T.R.U.T.H.,  and Sho Baraka as well as Pompi  and Mag 44 from Zambia in addition to major artists across different genres of gospel music in Malawi.

We are a Ministry of God, aimed at spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Most of our ministry is through music. Our theme is: Heralding the spirit of God through Urban culture
