Alvin Lyons, also known as the artist “Teko Baby,” was born and raised in Ft. Pierce one of the oldest communities on the east coast of Florida. Teko hails from a richly musical family being that his father is a famous jazz musician and mother a chorus teacher of note. His music gifts were bestowed upon him at a very young age, being a multi- talented actor, singer, rapper, producer, and songwriter he is destine to be discovered. 
Teko Baby is the Ultimate entertainer, delivering smooth and mesmerizing melodies while steadily gearing his fans back into the Golden Era of R&B and hip hop music. While composition became the main source of his heart, he expanded his knowledge in high school by learning different genres of music, foreign languages, and traveling the world. 
By the age of XX, Teko formally made his expedition into the music industry as a bone fide musician. He was deemed Who's Who Among American High School Students, inducted in the Ft. Pierce Central - Hall of Fame, and participant of Florida All-State Chorus Band earning the Young Floridian Award. Recognized and chosen as the only choral student from the state of Florida; toured Germany, Australia, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, and the Netherlands with the U.S. Youth Ensemble European Tour 1995. From performing with some of the world’s most famous jazz musicians, acting in the Broadways stage plays, and singing opera in foreign languages have proven his stage name TEKO - Taking, Everything, Knowledge has to Offer. 
Upon graduating from high school, Teko had auditioned and was accepted into Morehouse University on a full scholarship. It took one trip to New York with his musically talented cousins that had changed his college plans and making the decision to persue his music career. Sharing the same passion the cousins formed the dynamic super group Innermission. Teko was the power of this machine, with his knowledge, drive and ambition. The group was to signed management with WannaBlow Entertainment/Violator/Def Jam based out of, NYC in "98", and had the chance to rub shoulders with some of the best artists in the music industry such as, P. Diddy, LL Cool J, Missy , Ginuwine, Dru Hill, 112, Total, Busta Rhythms , Ja Rule , Charlie Baltimore, and Ashanti. Now striving to be a powerhouse in the R&B, hip hop, and rap game, as a solo artist Teko Baby pushes for chart toppin hits for the world to love!
