Good Boy Good Girl is the collaboration of producer, singer, songwriter Johnny Burgos (Bridge City Hustle) and singer, songwriter Liza Colby (The Liza Colby Sound). They met 11 years ago in a Brooklyn elevator when Liza asked Johnny: "Who braids you hair?" Ever since then they’ve been cultivating the recipe to their debut EP titled Home cookin’ Sounds. This is no TV dinner; this is sonic soul food! They can't give up their secret; just know they are an NYC - based eclectic Pop and Soul duo that marry silky-smooth vocals and thoughtful songwriting with Hip Hop-driven production. With influences ranging from Aretha Franklin to J Dilla, their own recipe hints to a slightly edgier Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson collaboration. Their music has simmered in years of true friendship.
