His music is greatly influenced by 90's-2013's Hip-Hop and rhythm and blues. Amir's favorite artist include Usher Raymond, Mariah Carey, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars. 
With the passion of a warrior and the ambition of a legend, Amir presses through onward to achieve his goal of making it as a multi Platinum selling recording artist. Amir Clemons has been singing from the pews of churches and in several reputable Pittsburgh venues such as The August Wilson Center for African American culture and Carnegie Mellon University since 1993. Amir states, "As a child music was the only thing that I could keep a hold of. Now original music is all that I am about." Amir creates, writes, and arranges his own music. Tae glo is a 26 year-old rapper out from the north side of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,￼he grew up in the system at the age of nine he moved with his father & went to Penn Hills. then all of a sudden he went down south to Chester South Carolina￼2009 for a year and a half down there. back in his younger days He’s been in the system & had multiple run-in’s with the authorities ￼Tae glo Started off in a choir￼ but then eventually had left the choir he was also writing poems which led him to start making music so Tae glo eventually became Trap R&B and led his way into A.k.a. Trap Melody ￼￼￼￼
