Junior X, also known as Manos Chatzimanolis, is an Athens-based DJ with over three decades of professional experience, performing on both local and international stages.

Widely regarded as one of the veterans of contemporary electronica in Greece, he is also known as an ambient sound healer and ecological activist. 

His presence at numerous Void Network events, underground gatherings, and street parties in Athens, as well as his involvement in experimental art-fusion projects, has earned him the respect of diverse dance communities and resistance-culture circles alike.

Mixing an expansive palette of musical styles for radio stations and clubs throughout Greece, Junior X has developed a profound understanding of the needs of any dancefloor at any given moment. 

His recent musical explorations can be described as melodic downtempo enriched with atmospheric soundscapes.

He has performed at a series of local and international festivals including Evigheten (Sweden), Genesis (Sweden), Aurora Festival (Greece), Dance Xperience (Greece), Free Earth (Greece), Transahara (Morocco), and Tree of Life (Turkey). He has also had the honour of sharing the stage with renowned artists such as Eat Static, Grant Collins (Darshan), Frank E Madsen (Koxbox), Ajja, Tristan, Outsiders, Hujaboy, Ureken, ConWerteR, Imaginarium, Atriohm, Aes Dana, Solar Fields, H.U.V.A. Network, Asura, Cell, Tajmahal, Sergio Walgood, Zenith Baboo, Exosomatika, Tripswitch, Odiolab, Robin Triskele, Fishimself, I.Mike, DJ Doc, Headweller, Ott, Gaudi, Ghetto Priest (Asian Dub Foundation), Direct Connection, Fleck, Vlastur, Tengri, Alcalica, Palyrria, Insp-I-Ration Soundsystem, Elijah Prophet, Natural Reaction Soundsystem, FLeCK, Dub Riots, Disphonia, El Paso Soundsystem, Wadada Soundsystem, and many others.

In recent years, he has also worked as a stage manager for Free Earth Festival’s main stage and Oxygen stage, and he is recognized as the first Greek DJ to perform for Ecstatic Dance events in Athens.
