Clayton "Prince Clay" James was born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey. However, he is now based in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. 

With having only a small fan-base, James surprisingly gained recognition as soon as released his hit single "Memories" back in 2018. As a follow-up, late 2018, the rapper and songwriter decided to become apart of a music group called "Hapollo Air Records" based in Houston, Texas. 

He released his debut EP self-titled, "Lost in Life" in November 2018. The project to him was a vivid picture of his skills and a way to define his abilities to perform better. Throughout 2017 and 2018, Prince Clay took his time to figure out what kind of artist he wanted to be and what it would take to be different from his peers. After gaining momentum and confidence within himself, James plans to prove to himself that he can be the artist he wants to become. Find strength in his words.
