Sammy Rodrigues began his venture into music at a young age. A drummer at heart, he began playing at age 11 continuing on through high school. His love for music only increased as he got older. Leaning more towards the Top 40 & Dance scene, he first started spinning at the age of 21. His love for music began to truly take over, over the next few years. By age 24 his career going full circle and his technique coming under the tutelage of Dj Petedown and one of his influences being Dj Roy Barboza (formerly of Jamn 94.5/Big Dog Pitbulls). He has created his own unique style. Adding his own twist to what you hear on the radio, Dj Sammy Clawz has been on the come-up at a torrid pace. His body of work speaks for itself, working with the likes of Dj Petedown, Dj Roy Barboza (Big Dog Pitbull), Ne-Yo, Dj Pup Dawg (Jamn 94.5), Dj Half Pint (Hot 106.3), Wu Tang Clan, DMC (of Run DMC), Naughty By Nature, Jadakiss, Styles P, Sheek Louch, & Ryan Leslie, just to name a few. With various ties to the music industry & record labels, he does various label & album promotions (T.I., 50 Cent, Kanye West, Swiiz Beatz, to name a few). He also brings to the table the ability to adapt to the environment to wich he's spinning. Whether top-40, Dance, hip hop, r&b, Reggae, or reggaeton Dj Sammy Clawz has taken the time to master them all. With his own mixtapes, and social networking plays and views & plays that grow beyond hundreds of thousands by the day, he is the perfect mix of talent and notoriety.
