Lahir dan besar di skena indie pop selama satu dekade terakhir setidaknya sudah memberikan jawaban tentang bagaimana determinasi The Panic sebagai unit musik post rock lokal memberikan kontribusi bagi pendengar lingkar inti komunitas kecil mereka. Sebagai kelompok yang terdiri dari ragam latar nan pekat dengan nuansa kultur Britpop mereka telah melewati fase sahih sex, drug, and rocknroll. Tak perlu kecut atau memberi atribusi negatif mengenai hal ini, bukan pula usaha melumrahkan atau menjadikan sebagai kewajiban untuk penempatan label seperti itu. Musik sebagai aparatus industri dan kebudayaan tentu dekat dengan segala varian yang membentuknya, medan positif maupun negatif secara diametral sekaligus. Krishna (akis) dkk adalah sebagaimana kita ; manusia biasa. Setelah melewati prahara personal dan proses kreatif bersama The Panic yang menyebabkan unit ini dibubarkan Krishna (akis), perenungan panjang personal mengusik batinnya ; jalan atau tidak sama sekali. Pasca meluncurnya Krishna dengan Sisilain lewat tembang “kecil”. Nama menentukan langkah, seperti ada narasi besar dalam perubahan nama kelompok yang diputuskan Krishna (akis) yang menegasikannya dengan masa lalu. Kini, dengan caranya mereka hadir kembali memberi energi baru, narasi tentang dirinya sendiri, apa yang tak lebih besar merepresentasikan semesta selain manusia itu sendiri dengan relung petualangannya, bukan? Tabik!
Kini mereka hadir dengan gagasan baru yang akan mengguncang dunia.

The recognizable ‘Sound of Chick Flix’ had already been stretched out through the entire Dutch club scene. The Chick Flix remixes are supported by a lot of DJ’s and you can hear them in every club.

Hailing from Greensboro, North Carolina, DJ Panic started purchasing and playing phonographic records in 1998 when he was intrigued by the sounds of Jungle music and  with 2 other roommates, started the 218 Crew.  For the last 12 years he has been a part of the local and statewide Drum and Bass scene and played along side some of the worlds best Dj/producer acts including London Elektricity, Calibre, LTJ Bukem, MC Conrad, Nu:tone, Logistics, TC1, Mathematics, Dieselboy, Dara, Freaky Flow, Hive, John B, Atlantic Connection, Danny Byrd, Flight, Marcus Intalex, and many more. DJ Panic was also an active member of the Runnin' Crew and helped launch and promote Greensboro's best Drum and Bass weekly "Liquid Funk Fridays" alongside fellow Crew mate Manual Labor.  

As for now he continues to promote and push underground music in the form of mixes and live shows. Stay Tuned!
