Dash Berlin is a music project founded and created by award-winning music producer and songwriter Sebastiaan Molijn in 2006. Contrary to popular belief, it was Molijn who named his project ‘Dash Berlin’. Together with his long time youth friend and co-producer Eelke Kalberg, Seb was the driving creative force behind the performing (now ex) frontman. Armin van Buuren headlines tens to hundreds of shows per year at leading festivals and venues around the world, including Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas, New York), Ultra Music Festival
(Miami), Lollapalooza (Chicago. Berlin) and Tomorrowland (Belgium, Brazil), plus residencies on Ibiza and in Las Vegas, and his own A State of Trance events in Rotterdam, London, Mexico and beyond. 

As a producer, Armin van Buuren has joined forces with the biggest artists in dance music and beyond, from Hardwell, David Guetta and Martin Garrix, to Moby and Jon Bon Jovi. In June 2025, he released his ninth studio album, ‘Breathe’.

Armin van Buuren is also the co-founder of Armada Music, the world’s biggest independent dance music label.

Sensation commenced in Amsterdam in 2000, and since then over a million people across the world have experienced one of the most spectacular dance and music phenomenons in the world.

The first ever Sensation took place at the Amsterdam ArenA – home of Ajax football club, and was experienced by 20,000 clubbers. The following year, Sensation as we know it was born. As a tribute to his brother Miles, who helped found ID&T before sadly dying in a car accident, Duncan Stutterheim, Sensation CEO, asked visitors to dress in white as people did at Miles’ funeral. Numbers had doubled from the first year, and eighty percent of the 40,000 attendees did so, creating an image so staggering that the dress code has remained the same ever since.

Sensation has expanded beyond Amsterdam, with shows in countries across Europe including Germany, Belgium, Russia and Poland.
