Sonta has a lot to get off her chest — and heart. Since racking up millions of YouTube views with the soulful singles “You Ain’t Shit” and “Who Is She,” the singer/rapper known for delivering R&D, which she describes as "rhythm and drill," is leaning into vulnerability and playing to her creative strengths. Raised on a mix of Mary J. Blige, Lauryn Hill and Jagged Edge,the Chicago-based songwriter is no stranger to exercising her romantic theories on men through songs.
