Bright Black was a 5-piece psychedelic rock band formed in Bristol, UK in 2011. After one self-titled EP (covertly issued free at a gig) and a series of line-up changes the band renamed itself as The Silk Report in July 2012 and continued gigging and making records under that name until it finally split in January 2014.

Some 14 hours of Bright Black/Silk Report recordings (mostly practice demos) still currently exist - not including alternative mixes, masters and remixes. The best stuff should be uploaded here for your listening pleasure! Check out the playlists for a better sense of chronology/sequencing.
