Johnny’s Garden is a solo project by John Peter Hamilton, a singer-songwriter and guitarist from Hull in East Yorkshire. John’s music draws inspiration from the haunting melodies of Bert Jansch, the enigmatic lyricism of Syd Barrett and the raw energy of The Doors amongst many others. His real gift lies in his ability to weave melody and words seamlessly. His compositions resonate with listeners, evoking emotions through his linguistic imagery. John first broke on the music scene playing bass, lead guitar and piano for Hull alternative-folk band Pavey Ark, playing across the UK including the Glastonbury Acoustic stage, Cambridge Folk Festival and with airplay on BBC introducing and BBC 6 Music.
