  Born in Harlem, NY by way of Jamaica west indies , Guap has had musical influences from every genre all around him. At an early age his love for music and the entertainment industry seemed to define his destiny. His began by writing lyrics and recording them on cassettes - Guap seemed to have found his niche. Eventually his love for the music began to spread when in his sophomore year he co-founded the "TOP 40 CLUB", which was a school luchtime radio station, with Guap as the on-air personality. Guap also joined the school's Television Production Lab and started learning the basics of editing, shooting, and programmings. This led to his participation in the annual video yearbook production for which he was the primary editor and producer. After years of work, growth and dedication he has grown into one of the best djs/producers amongst his peers, working with some of the hottest Indie artists as well as hosting one of CNYs best radio programs on WDWN 89.1FM in Auburn, NY. "The PreGame Show", The "Sizzle and Bizzle" show and the "Jukebox" were some of the on-air shows he headlined. From DJing and coordinationg the sound for many stage shows, fundraisers and special events, Guap has paid his dues in the music industry. His biggest musical influences stem from his West Indian background, but ranges from Reggae to HipHop & RnB to Contemporary, Classical, and even Country. Currently his latest venture is with DOD Radio.

Ervin Archibald Jr III, known as ERV was born on August 8th, 1985 to parents Ervin Archibald Jr II and Gloria Jackson in Newark, New York. Ervin was brought into this world with the passion and the love of music in his heart. He instantly grabbed and held on tight to his love of creating, singing and dancing to the music that captured him. He had no problem performing and drawing people in at the drop of a hat. Ervin's talents followed him from childhood to the man and artist we know today as ERV

Through his musical journey, he has participated in numerous amounts of talent shows and show cases, in which he would often come in first place or take his talents all the way to the finals of the competition. Such showcases include popular talent shows as American Idol, where ERV placed 2nd place, one place shy of going to the next level of the competition. These events only inspired him more. 
When he was formerly known as E.R.V., he shot his first music video with rap artist M1, titled "fine as mine" in 2010 as a featured artist. This took his career to new heights. He began to see just how far he could go. The sky was the limit.

Since 2010, ERV has traveled as a song writer/performer to key music areas of the United States such as New York City, Miami, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. He has expanded his music & stretched his network to places as far out as Europe. In January, 2014 ERV released his first R&B mixtape titled "Oceania Blue" in Rochester, in upstate New York where he has resided the past several years. The release of his mixtape "Oceania Blue" and popular tracks from the mixtape such as "Dark Passion" and "I Feel Good" captured the ears of all the right people.

ERV's vision is to be able to talk to the world through the language of music and be able to relate to his audience. So look out for the new sound of R&B : ERV
