Dance music played a huge part in transforming Reischmir into a Dj. From the early 90’s he discovered and tuned into the House beats of Frankie Knuckles, Graeme Park and Danny Rampling and the mesmerising Techno mixes of Joey Beltram, Derrick May, Sven Vath and Carl Cox. Through attending club nights during the 90’s at the infamous Fubar in Stirling and 12 hour raves at Livingston Forum, Ingleston and Prestwick International Airport plus attending events throughout England such as Vision and Obsession he found his calling. It was through attending these events and hearing the pulsating beats from these Dj’s that inspired Resichmir to purchase his first set of turntables in 1993.

From that point onward he has travelled through the full spectrum of dance music with his own personal tastes evolving. Ending up playing a variety of genres from Chicago style house to Electro House and even playing some Minimal and Techno. These days he tend to play Tech House, Deep House, Electro, House or Techno however he has been known to diversify and has plenty of what are now deemed ‘old skool’ or ‘classic’ tracks.

He held a residency at the Martel in Falkirk, has played out at countless illegal parties in the local area and after a break of more than 7 years more recently and bizarrely in the north of Iraq.

He began Dj’ing with vinyl and I still plays the black stuff. He has been, and still is, a vinyl purist however recently he has diversified by playing digital and vinyl alongside each other.

Dj’ing influences are the legendary MAW, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Frankie Knuckles, Graeme Park, Derrick May, Roger Sanchez, Sebastien Leger and Frankie Bones.
