Chris Cubs has been "rapping" since 8th grade. 
Poetry has helped Cubs discover the world and express feelings and emotions he would otherwise keep to himself. 
Cubs views labels as a way to limit the potential of his music, therefore he rarely admits to being a rapper.
He wants to change the world and open a new form of thought.

He often says the curse of the present is the expectation of the past and the dependence of the future. 

He was born March 22, 1989 in Baton Rouge, LA. He has traveled and lived all along the Eastern and Southern coast. He is currently enrolled in college, and plans to pursue a degree in Psychology. 

Music he says is the voice of the soul. 

He currently is a part of Black Elite. 

And is in progress of starting his first album, Produced by Vincent Dior

For over 20 years, acclaimed picker-poet Michelle Shocked has been generating compelling lyrics and mneumonic melodies. In the ’80′s, she was thrust into an inadvertent recording career when a bootleg tape was released in England. In the ensuing bidding war following the phenomena of The Texas Campfire Tapes, Mercury Records signed her and she produced a trilogy of Grammy-nominated albums over the next five years, launched by her signature song, “Anchorage.”
