With his passion and extensive knowledge of music, Barry Rubin started his own unit eight years ago known as
BSOUL Collective, Beautiful Sounds Of Unity & Love. They are a collective of some of NYC/NJ's finest and funkiest musicians. This creative union of artists blends various styles of Jazz, Blues, Fusion, Afro-Beat, African-Carribean flavors, Reggae, including R&B, Funk, Soul, and much more. The B Soul Collective features various ensembles of a rotating cast of core members that includes: Ku-umba Frank Lacy on Trombone Flugel Horn & vocals,  David Lee Jones on alto sax/flute, Mike Moon Reuben on guitar and vocals, Oscar Deric Brown on keys,  Ras Josh David on bass & vocals, Lou Petto on drums and percussion & Group Leader Barry Rubin on percussion.
