Born and raised in San Diego. I have always heavily invested my time with music, mostly listening, and analyzing tracks without even realizing it. As I matured I found communities who have a similar extreme interest in music and I began to revolve my life around it. My audio production started with a simple download of fruity loops, and through many hours of studying, experimenting, collaborations and a lot of intensive trial and error and a few DAW changes, I have reached a point where my talents and abilities in music production grow exponentially everyday. There is nothing I enjoy more than creating music and learning about audio engineering. Sound is fascinating, it can instill emotion or memories, even spell out moods or energies in an abstract way. Sound can be powerful and learning to master its uses and learning to create uniqueness to a point of self expression is priceless. 
I want to share what I love with the world.  The nest grows bigger everyday, come a join me on my epic adventure of musical expression.

Prior residencies include, Insomnia After hours(L.A.), The legendary San Diego after-hours, Romper-Room (95-98) &more.  Recent residencies include Techniche Recordings, Frequency.  Showcasing Techniche Artist as well a Nationwide and World wide talent.

Now residing in Los angeles, Jon E. Thin has continued to captivate audiences locally as well as Nation-wide by carving out a distinctive techno sound.  Signed to Techniche Recordings in 2021.  Continuing with releases on Airtaxi Recordings, Boiler Underground and more coming up in 2023.  New material is due out this winter 2023.  Stay tuned.
