Mic Flo aka FLEEZY grew up in Houston and is a recent transplant to the Bay area. He’s a rapper with deep roots in funk, soul, and old school Hip Hop whose unusual rhymes weave such diverse subjects as his experiences as a doctor during aid missions in Palestine and Haiti, his current work as a geriatrician, family, faith, and sports, around and through more traditional subject matter for the genre. The results can be intense, reverent, goofy, or more often an unpredictable combination. References to southern cooking and good wine add palpable flavor to his observations about life, sometimes to a degree that his rapping can actually make you hungry.
