We have always liked to combine different genres in mixtapes and that's how we prefer to play for audiences, although we like to focus on specific directions as well. This mix is a typical example how Radio Martiko seeks for the connection in music from total different playgrounds and how we can fit it together in a playlist, whether it could be a Mauritanian griot session, a Sega love song duet or mambo orchestra wizardry for hotel lounge entertainment. Songs and melodies can be passed on and rhythms can be teached, but overall we are all beings conducted by the same force of nature. That's why we will never give up our quest for the Soulful Taurus, which could be the God of irrestistible groovy music in the imagination of the Martiko.
