Amari (Dj Mari) Considers Himself As A Musical Wizard. He Is A Multi-Genre Dj With A Wide Range Of Skills. For Amari Djing Is Not A Hobby As Over The Years It Has Turned Into A LifeStyle, As Amari Was Raised Into A Culture Of Music. At The Age Of 8,He Realised He Wanted To Become A Dj As He Just Came Back From Jamaica And He’s Uncle Taught Him How to Use Virtual DJ. So For His 9th Birthday, Amari Asked His Mother To Buy Him A CDJ. As She Said No, Amari Woke Up On His Birthday Upset Soon To Find Out That His Mother Had Bought The CDJ As A Surprise.

As It Was Amari’s 9th Birthday And He Got Dj Equipment, Amari asked His Dad To Call One Of His Friends, That is Known As ‘GangsterKid’ Who Is Well Known In The Music Industry, And Tell Him That Amari Became A DJ. When Amari’s Father Called Him, ‘GangsterKid’ Then Invited Him To Come Onto His Radio Show With Him Later On That Day. So Later On That Day Amari’s Father Met With ‘GangsterKid’ So Amari Could Go Onto To His Show. Amari Then Went Onto The Show A Special Guest Which He Was Then Given The Name ‘Dj Mari’ By ‘GangsterKid’.

When Amari Became 11 His Cdj Broke So Amari Started Using Virtual Dj, Where He learnt How To Do A Number Of Things To Help Him Improve His Skills And Better Himself As A DJ. Amari Then Started to Go Onto The Radio With ‘Dj Alton’ Which Helped Amari; Improve he’s skills as a DJ, taught him how to talk on the microphone as Amari did not like to do it. Amari is Now Known As; 'Dj Alton’s Spari’. As Amari Loved Bashment/Dancehall That’s All He Really Had And That's What He Knew How To Play, But As The Years Went By Amari Was Told By A Number Of People That;’ There’s More To Music Than Basement’ So ‘Dj Alton’ Taught Amari That There Is So Much More Music In The World Which He Then Introduced Amari Too…. This Helped Amari Become The DJ Who he Is today: “Multi-Genre DJ”.

Amari Now Has Been Djing at Clubs, Kids Parties, Teen Parties (13-18) Known Events (LinkUpLdn) and so much more nearly every week !!!

Karim Hype, the Jamaican disc jockey, selector, producer, and artist is overly versatile and creative making it difficult to grasp the full scope of his accomplishments. Karim Hype was born on January 12, 1984, in Kingston, Jamaica. He attended Norman Manley High School and then moving to the United States in 2006 to Miami, Fl. He continued his High School education and graduated from American High School.

Karim Hype fell in love with music at the age of 13 after consistently sitting at home and recording live radio programs. When he was 16 years old, Karim knew music was his career choice and went right into the process of developing his craft. He was influenced by sound selectors and system of likeness of Tony Matterhorn, Bass Odyssey, Renaissance and Fire Links.

In 2006, Karim Hype met Supa Twitch whom then ask him to join the legendary sound: Supa Sound. From there, Karim Hype started to build his fan base and core audience. Four years later, he established Hype Records LLC and produced No Blu Riddim which features Wayne Wonder, Bugle, Chris Martin, and Konshens just to name a few. In addition, he collaborated with Ricky Blaze to create the ‘Sprite Riddim’, which Karim himself debuted as an artist releasing his first solo hit “Badmind Energy.” The Riddim also featured Vybz Kartel song “Touch a Button”. Throughout his career, his most outstanding experiences is traveling the world and playing in front of thousands of people as well as becoming close friends with legendary Dancehall Artist’s such as: Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, I-Octane, Agent Sasco, Chino and Stephen McGregor, Demarco and many more.

In August 2016 Karim Hype wanted to pursue his career and branch out on his own as a solo selector and departed from Supa Sound. Via his statement on his departure, August 5, 2016 Karim Hype, stated “ I was blessed to be mentored by a Legend and know that he will carry on in sustaining his legacy however it is time for me to start a legacy and build my brand as Karim Hype Landmark Sound.”

Karim Hype is truly a force to be reckoned with, and will not disappoint his listeners, as he takes his rightful place as one of the biggest D.J./ Selector in South Florida.
